We made it!

We have finally arrived at our new duty station. It has been kind of crazy so far. But the boys are back in school and life is starting to slow down a little. We are hoping that our housing will be available soon and we will be able to live on base. But for now we will stay in our temporary apartment. Its small but we like to call it cozy. Once we get into permanent housing, I can get my computer back. For now Ill just have to keep stopping by the recreation center to update my blog. I guess thats it for now!

Labor Day Weekend

We had a great weekend. Curtis had a couple of days off so we got to spend some time with him. He headed back to Ft Campbell this morning. We managed to get a lot of stuff done around the house over the holiday weekend. We cleaned out closets,the shed, the attic, we spackled and we painted. We did take a break Saturday evening. We were invited to the Barte's for a louisiana style shrimp boil. As usual we ate way too much. But we had a great time. The Foppianos were there too. We really enjoyed spending time with everyone from our "inner circle". Ofcourse we missed the Richersons (melissa was feeling a little under the weather and couldnt make it.) Thanks to the Barte's for a great evening! I am working on posting pics from this weekend. So keep checking back for those. I hope everyone else had a great Labor Day weekend.
