A New Post

I guess it is time for a new post (as Natasha said). Lets see, whats new??? Today Curtis turns 38 years old, so I guess we will have to have german chocolate cake later. Yummy! The kids are still busy with all their stuff. Josh just received a 5 week scholarship to the university of Mississippi for this summer. He can start earning college credits over the summer. He is excited about that and of course we are nervous about sending him so far away.
Jacob was voted class clown by his class mates for the yearbook. I dont know if thats good or bad. He is looking forward to baseball season. I think Josh might play this year too. They might be able to play on the same team this year. That will save a lot of time.
This past week my Grandfather passed away after a long battle with cancer. He can finally rest. We will miss him a lot.
I think thats all I got for now. I better get to work and get all these brats to school on time. LOL See ya soon.

Happy New Year

Our New year was pretty quiet. Curtis worked back to back 24-hour duty through the holiday weekend. The kids have a friend from Horn Lake staying this week so they have been busy showing him around Ft Campbell. I prepared the usual black eyes peas and cabbage. (We need all the help we can get these days, so come on luck and money) LOL Curtis finally got a deer last night. It was a good size doe. Atleast we will have something to put in the freezer. I think the kids have given up on getting one. Maybe they will find a better place to hunt by next year. We go back to school next Monday. We are all dreading that. I hope everyone else had a good New Years weekend. May all your dreams come true in 2007.
