Im ready for spring

I am so ready for warm weather. I am sick of snow. I think it has snowed a dozen times since we moved here. Some days it snows all day long but at the end of the day there is not a flake of snow anywhere. Sometimes we get up and it looks like this picture outside. Yesterday it was snowing when I got up and was still snowing when I went to bed. But this morning there is only sleet and a little freezing rain on the ground and on the streets. Its really weird. Its just a big cold slushy mess. This week we are finally supposed to get temps above freezing. I am so excited about that. I HATE THE COLD!! It has given Curtis an opportunity to stay inside and get back to painting. In fact I posted pics of his paintings in my photo album. Im looking forward to spring and summer. Is everybody ready for camping???

ROTC Military Ball

Josh and his date Tralisa attended the JR ROTC military ball last night. Joshua was asked to be part of the Honor Guard and perform in a ceremony to honor the Queen and Princess of the ball. He really enjoyed that. But you know how guys are, anything that involves swords is cool. They had a good time and I thought they looked really cute together.

February 2007

This week has been really busy. Josh has to attend a military ball Saturday night for ROTC. So I spent this week making sure he had a fresh haircut, picking up his uniform at the cleaners and ordering flowers for his date. And of course that same day he is taking his ACT's again. He wants to try to get a higher score this time around. (I thought he did good enough last time but hes a perfectionist) Both of the boys have had baseball practice almost everyday so they have been running us crazy with that.
And whats with all this cold weather. Yesterday barely got out of the 20's. I am so sick of being cold. We already have snow in our forecast again. I thought three times last week was enough already. Im ready for spring. I guess thats all I got for now. Oh yeah, Happy Valentines Day!
